Visitors and Exhibitors Delighted by therapie LEIPZIG
After three eventful and exciting trade fair days, a successful therapie LEIPZIG has come to an end. The largest trade fair with a conference for therapy, medical rehabilitation and prevention in the German-speaking world took place from 24 to 26 March 2022 and provided a long-awaited opportunity to meet in person once again, take part in discussions and test products on-site. It drew 13,400 trade visitors to Leipziger Messe. Over 307 exhibitors from 14 countries presented their product innovations and industry trends.
"One thing was particularly evident during the three-day event. The industry needs to meet in person at the trade fair," Martin Buhl-Wagner, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe concludes. "The positive mood in the exhibition hall could be felt everywhere. Despite a break of three years due to the pandemic, therapie LEIPZIG has once again proved that it is the leading platform for the therapy professions. The fact that we were able to successfully carry out the trade fair leaves us optimistic about the future and ready to look forward in particular to next year's therapie LEIPZIG."
Birigt Mücklich, Project Director of therapie LEIPZIG, is also pleased with the results: "The fair exceeded both our own expectations and those of the exhibitors by far. Thanks to the variety of products on display that could be actively tested by the trade visitors, the exhibition hall was full of life. Furthermore, numerous exhibitors were able to show how the therapy industry has progressed in the last few years by presenting their digital innovations among other things."
Meeting Place for Decision-Makers in an Informal Atmosphere
The mood among industry representatives, trade visitors, participating associations and partner organisations was also clearly positive: Well over 90 per cent of trade visitors said they would recommend therapie LEIPZIG and 8 out of 10 respondents are planning to come to the event again next year. The companies exhibiting also said the trade fair had been a success: 90 per cent are already planning to take part in therapie LEIPZIG 2023. There was particular praise for the high proportion of decision-makers among the trade visitors. Of the total 13,400 visitors who flocked to the Leipzig Exhibition Centre, 50 per cent were decision-makers in their companies or practices.
Wide Range of Topics at the Congress, Action in the Exhibition Hall
With a wide range of scientific seminars and practical workshops at the congress, therapie LEIPZIG once again was able to offer a unique, interdisciplinary educational programme for therapists in the German-speaking world. The spectrum covered everything from hydrotherapy and animal-assisted therapy with dogs to trunk and deep muscle training for spinal stability and the establishment of new therapy methods for Parkinson's disease.
The congress was rounded off with discussion panels on professional policy that took place as part of therapie LEIPZIG. These gave therapists valuable insights into current issues under discussion as well as the opportunity to actively contribute to developments in the industry.
In the exhibition hall, there were plenty of activities available. In the demonstration area, at the themed special shows and especially at the exhibition stands, visitors could personally try out exercises and equipment.
The next therapie LEIPZIG will take place from 4 to 6 May 2023.
