Arrival and Parking
You can reach the Leipzig Trade Fair quickly and directly by any means – whether by car, train, bus, bicycle or plane. And in Leipzig, all roads lead to the Fair.
Arrival by Public Transport
Leipzig offers an excellent public transport network: buses, trams, regional trains and suburban trains quickly and comfortably connect the airport, the Leipzig Exhibition Centre, the city centre, hotels and sights.
Tram line 16 takes you directly to the exhibition grounds (final stop "Messegelände"). You can also reach the Leipzig Exhibition Centre by regional train (RB) or suburban train (S-Bahn). On arrival alight at the station "Leipzig Messe".
Information on local transport connections to the Leipzig Trade Fair is available from the Deutsche Bahn timetable information service as well as from the Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund and Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe.
Admission tickets as public transit tickets
Leipziger Messe is your ticket to sustainable travel! On the day you visit one of Leipziger Messe's own events, you can use our admission ticket to travel to and from the exhibition grounds for free using public transit of the Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV) in the following zone: 110.
Arrival by Long-Distance Transport
There are hourly connections from Leipzig to all major cities in Germany. Travellers can then change to S-Bahn trains bound for Messe at Leipzig Central Station and at the S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland City Tunnel stations.
Information on transport connections to the Leipzig Trade Fair is available from the Deutschen Bahn timetable information service as well as from the Mitteldeutschen Verkehrsverbund and Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe.
Arrival by Bicycle
There is a cycle path all the way from Leipzig city centre to the exhibition site. When you arrive, there are bicycle stands at all the visitor entrances as well as at the staff entrance to the Congress Center Leipzig.
We also have a charging station for e-bikes with lockers for the batteries and your bicycle equipment in the front of the Administration Building. Each locker contains a 230V plug to charge your battery.
Arrival by Car
The Leipzig Trade Fair can be reached directly via the A 9, A 14 and A 38 motorways. You will see signs on the motorways indicating the exit for the Leipzig Trade Fair. What's more, it only takes approximately 20 minutes along the B 2 from the Exhibition Centre to Leipzig city centre. Around 800 taxis operate to provide rapid connections between the airport, the main railway station, the city centre and the Exhibition Centre.

- A 9 Schkeuditzer Kreuz – ten minutes by car

Arrival by Coach
There is a stop for long-distance coaches right on the grounds of the Leipzig Trade Fair. You can view all long-distance coaches at a glance at: www.busliniensuche.de .
Arrival by Plane
Leipzig/Halle Airport is located in the heart of Central Germany and is easily accessible from the Leipzig Trade Fair: It takes about 10 to 15 minutes via the motorway and eight minutes by S-Bahn S 5, running every half hour.
Other travel options are via Berlin's airport BER or the airport Dresden. There is a direct ICE train from Berlin Central Station to Leipzig that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, and from Berlin Südkreuz in 1 hour and 5 minutes. It takes just under 2 hours by car from the BER to the Leipzig Trade Fair.

The hotel category as indicated by Leipziger Messe in the hotel reservation is based on personal evaluation following an inspection of each hotel. It is not always identical with a hotel rating according to the German Hotel and Restaurant Association DEHOGA or the hotel category marketed by the hotels.

ATMS
Uncomplicated Cash Withdrawal
You will find ATMs at both entrances to our exhibition grounds. In addition to these fixed ATMs, we offer a mobile ATM that can be located at different locations depending on the event. The mobile ATM charges a fee.

Lost and Found: Your Way to the Lost Property Office
Things sometimes get lost in the hustle and bustle of a trade fair. We keep found items for you in our lost property office. If you are looking for something, your request must be submitted by email during the event. After the end of the event, you can send us your enquiries both by telephone and by email.

In case of an emergency, this is where you can get help
There are First Aid stations in our West entrance hall (Glass Hall) as well as in the Congress Center Leipzig (Level +1). You can receive first aid for minor injuries here.

Barrier-free on the Leipziger exhibition grounds
The Leipziger exhibition grounds are designed for easy access. All halls are at ground level, and there are no barriers to prevent access. All entrances can be accessed without any problems. We would appreciate it if you would make us aware of any potential hindrances!
Wheelchairs Available to Borrow
Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the West and East Entrance Halls and in the Congress Center Leipzig for your visit to the trade fair. If you need a wheelchair, please speak to the staff at the cloakroom locations in the respective entrance area. You can also reserve a wheelchair prior to the event. Please use the order form for this. It will be available for you in the corresponding entrance area.
Accessible Parking Spaces
You are also welcome to arrive by car. At the front of the visitor car park accessible parking spaces (PDF, 346 kB) are available.
Arrival by Tram
Tram line 16 takes you straight to the "Messegelände" station. Almost all trams on this route use modern low-floor carriages, making boarding and alighting easier. Arrival by Regional and Suburban Trains (S-Bahn)
You can also reach the Leipzig Exhibition Centre from Leipzig Central Station by regional (RB) or suburban train (S-Bahn). On arrival alight at the station "Leipzig Messe". There are lifts on the platform. The Leipzig Exhibition Centre is located 750m away from the train station. For more information, please contact the Deutsche Bahn timetable information service.
