With the HUR SmartBalance, the risk of falling and the probable direction of the fall can be tested using 2 standard tests. Testing is carried out using the Romberg test and the stability limit test.
In the event of a deviation, the push of a button can show which muscle groups should be strengthened and which balance exercises should be carried out in order to minimize the risk of falling.
The muscles are then built up using the existing strength training equipment. The balance exercises are completed using the SmartBalance.
The SmartBalance is compatible with the HUR SmartTouch software. Thus, the balance exercises can be integrated into the training plan, with the results and the corresponding improvements being evaluated graphically.
